We are happy to announce that we finally have some fresh snow here in the Espace Killy. Snow has been falling steadily for hours and with more forecasted for later this week it feels like winter has definitely arrived!

I have the unfortunate news to bring you that we had quite a serious fire in Chalet Echo on Sunday night and it is now un-usable for winter 2011/12.
We where coming toward the end of improving the chalet for this winter and there was a fire within the chimney. Article: Le Dauphine
No-one was injured and the fire was contained within the building which is the important thing in the bigger picture.
Bookings are currently being re-allocated and all current bookings in Echo have been contacted initially by email
Chalet Foxtrot next door is fine and we're looking forward to the snow forecasted around the 30th November for the start of the winter season. No bookings are affected in either Ushuaia or Foxtrot.
